It is bordered by Varennes-Saint-Sauveur to the north, Beaupont to the east, Pirajoux to the south-east, Foissiat to the south, Lescheroux to the south-west and Saint-Nizier-le-Bouchoux to the west . The inhabitants call themselves Cormoziens.
