Feillens is a French commune with 3,291 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes in the department of Ain . Administratively, the municipality is assigned to the canton of Replonges and the arrondissement of Bourg-en-Bresse . The inhabitants are called Feillendits .

geography

Feillens is in the Bresse countryside . The small Loëze flows through the municipality and flows into the Saône , which borders the municipality to the west. Feillens is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Manziat in the north, Bâgé-Dommartin in the east, Replonges in the south, Mâcon in the south-west, Sancé in the west and Vésines in the north-west.

The A40 autoroute runs through the municipality .
