Mogneneins is a French commune in the Ain department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne in the Bourg-en-Bresse arrondissement . In the west, the Saône forms the border with Dracé . The other neighboring communities are Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne in the north, Saint-Étienne-sur-Chalaronne in the east and Peyzieux-sur-Saône in the south. In addition to the main settlement, Mogneneins also includes the hamlets of Avaneins and Flurieux .
