Druillat is located about 17 kilometers south-southeast of the prefecture of Bourg-en-Bresse between Dombes and Revermont on the Durlet river . Neighboring municipalities of Druillat are Saint-Martin-du-Mont in the north, Neuville-sur-Ain in the northeast, Pont-d'Ain in the east, Varambon in the south, Villette-sur-Ain in the southwest, Dompierre-sur-Veyle in the west as well La Tranclière to the west and north-west.

The A40 car route runs along the eastern edge of the municipality and intersects with the A42 car route here .
