The Communauté de communes de la Dombes is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Ain department . It was founded on December 1, 2016 and comprises 36 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 from the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes Chalaronne Center , Communauté de communes Center Dombes and Communauté de communes du Canton de Chalamont .
