The Communauté de communes de la Côtière à Montluel is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Département Ain , the administrative seat of which is in the town of Montluel . The community association consists of nine communities, those of the former canton of Montluel . It was founded on December 28, 1993 under the name Communauté de communes du Canton de Montluel , but renamed as a result of the dissolution of the canton in 2015. Philippe Guillot-Vignot is the President of the Association of Municipalities.

tasks

The competencies required include the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning on the basis of a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association operates the road maintenance, sewage disposal and waste management. The association also builds and maintains sports and cultural facilities.
