Villeneuve-lès-Charnod is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community flavor with 86 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Jura department in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .
The municipality bordered Lains to the north, Charnod to the east, Aromas to the south, Germagnat to the southwest, Montfleur to the west and Montlainsia with Montagna-le-Templier to the northwest .

In 1821 Villeneuve-lès-Charnod took over the previous municipality of Faverges-lès-Charnod.
The municipality of Villeneuve-lès-Charnod was incorporated into Aromas on January 1, 2017. It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Saint-Amour .
