Montagna-le-Templier is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Montlainsia with 100 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté .
The neighboring communities were:

history
On the occasion of the French Revolution , the unofficial toponym Montagna-la-Doie appeared .
On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Montagna-le-Templier merged with Lains and Dessia to form the new municipality of Montlainsia. It belonged to the arrondissement of Lons-le-Saunier and the canton of Saint-Amour .
