The Dacia Solenza appeared in February 2003 as a revised model of the SupeRNova . Thanks to the cooperation with Renault , the Solenza was technically much more modern than its predecessor and had a more modern design. From 2004 a model with a diesel engine from Renault was offered. The top version had air conditioning , electric windows , CD radio, driver airbag , fog lights , anti-lock braking system and partially painted bumpers. With the diesel engine it cost 6,000 EUR. Even in its last full year of production, the Solenza had a top position in the Romanian registration statistics; production ended in March 2005. The Logan , which appeared almost a year earlier and was also offered in Germany, can be regarded as the successor .
