Ronaldo Folegatti (born April 30, 1958 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian composer and guitarist.

biography

The Brazilian composer, producer and guitarist Ronaldo Folegatti started playing the guitar when he was 10 years old.

Folegatti lived in Berlin, Germany for 15 years, where he played with numerous musicians from the Berlin scene, such as Frank Lüdecke , Hendrik Meurkens , Walter Gauchel , Dudu Tucci , Topo Gioia , Rolo Rodriguez, Chico Mello, Jörg Behr, Lito Tabora, Zito Ferreira and Guilherme Castro.

His first CD "Sounds of Watercolors" was released in 1990 in Germany and in 1991 in the USA. It quickly got on many jazz radios and reached the top 40 on Gavin Report. The phonogram also received good reviews from the trade press, including the American jazz magazine Jazziz.

His second CD "Lust, Comics & Some Other Dreams" was created with the participation of trumpeter Till Brönner and drummer Ronnie Stephenson , among others .

Folegatti has been living in Brazil again since 1995, where he continues to produce instrumental CDs, but also those with vocal numbers that are a mixture of Brazilian music, jazz and some pop.
