The Dacia Dokker is a high-roof station wagon that was presented in Morocco in mid-May 2012 and has been available there since July 2012. It has been available in Germany and Austria since spring 2013. There is also a delivery van version under the name Dokker Express .
The Dokker is not based on the Renault Kangoo , to which it is placed as an entry-level model, but on the Dacia Lodgy , to which it is very similar up to the A-pillar . Strictly speaking, the Dokker is a high-roof van, similar to the first generation of the Peugeot Expert .
Just like the Lodgy, the Dokker is also manufactured in the Tangier plant of the Moroccan car manufacturer Renault Tanger Méditerranée . The Dokker has five seats and is available with one or two sliding side doors that open 70.3 centimeters. There are two asymmetrical doors at the rear. The basic car version costs € 8,990. This makes the Dacia Dokker the cheapest in its vehicle segment.
The name "Dokker" derives from the English word "dockers" ( dock worker ) and is meant to emphasize the Dokker Dacia, according to the capacity utilization, adaptability and robustness of the two versions.
At the beginning, three different engines were available - a gasoline engine with 1.6 liter displacement and 83 HP (61 kW) and a 1.5 liter diesel engine with 75 HP (55 kW) or 90 HP (66 kW). A 1.2 liter turbo-charged gasoline engine with 115 PS (85 kW) has also been available since the beginning of 2013.

Dokker (car version)
The standard equipment includes 4 airbags (front and side airbags), ABS, EBV, ESP including ASR and a brake assistant. A rear parking aid, a speed limiter and a multimedia system “Media-Nav” are available as options. In addition to a navigation system with a 7-inch touchscreen monitor, this also includes a Bluetooth interface as well as a USB and jack connection and serves as a screen for the optionally available reversing camera. According to the VDA standard, the load volume of the vehicle is between 800 and 3000 liters with the rear seat bench folded down. The Dokker has been supplied with a start / stop system as standard since July 2015.
Dokker Express (delivery van version)
The standard equipment of the basic version Dokker Express includes a driver airbag. A passenger airbag, ESP (incl. ASR) and front side airbags (for Ambiance equipment level) are available for an extra charge. The load volume is a maximum of 3300 liters in the basic version and up to 3900 liters in the Ambiance equipment version if the optional Dacia Easy Seat system is installed in conjunction with the Vario partition.

Registration numbers
Since the market launch up to and including December 2019, a total of 49,705 Dacia Dokkers have been newly registered in the Federal Republic of Germany. 2019 was the most successful sales year with 11,257 units.
