The Dacia Pick-Up is a pick-up from the Romanian car manufacturer Dacia , which was built from 1975 to December 8, 2006. In the UK it was also known as the Dacia Gamma .
history
The Dacia Pick-Up was available in two generations: The first was built from 1975 to 1992. In 1992 the model upgrade for the second generation followed.
In Western Europe, the Dacia pick-up based on the body of the Dacia 1300 with an open loading area was less common. There were the body versions Dacia Pick Up , Dacia Drop Side and Dacia Double Cab . In Germany, these vehicles were only available through gray importers. The vehicles were only having been built in 2004 diesel engines from Renault equipped and possessed either via an electro-pneumatic switchable all-wheel drive .
Around 320,000 vehicles of this type were produced in 31 years of production. Production was discontinued on December 8, 2006 to free the belts for the more economically lucrative production of the Dacia Logan (annual production around 150,000 units). There is now a pick-up based on this (Dacia Logan Pick-Up).
Body versions
- The Drop Side is equipped with a short, two-seater cabin and an extra-wide loading area with folding side walls.
- The Pick Up has a two-seater cabin and a loading area with a tailgate.
- The Double Cab has an extended cabin and is approved for five people. The loading area at the back is correspondingly shorter.
