Lobo MC

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lobo MC (abbreviation for Lobo Motorcycle Club ) is one of the oldest German MCs . It was founded in 1973 in Pforzheim and currently consists of 22 German chapters . There are also one chapter each in Croatia ( Zagreb ) and Spain ( Mallorca ) and three chapters in Thailand ( Nong Khai , Chiang Mai and Koh Phangan).

history

The Lobo MC was founded in 1973 by five rockers . The club name Lobo, which means "wolf" in Spanish, is derived from the penny novel hero Lobo . Accordingly, the founders of the MC chose a stylized wolf head as the club logo. The club counts itself among the onepercenters . Women are not currently granted membership, although female members were welcome in the early days. With regard to motorization, there is no Harley duty for members .

Over the years the club has grown to include several chapters and is now also represented abroad. The oldest chapter next to Pforzheim is Homburg , which was founded in 1987. The main adapter (mother adapter) is still Pforzheim, but the individual chapters act largely independently of one another. Every year the MC organizes the so-called “Tortour de France”, an excursion by several clubs that only takes place when there are 400 motorbikes.

Criminal activity

Criminal activity became known in late 2012. Guns and drugs were found during several house searches of three members of a chapter in Saarburg . The members concerned were sentenced to three and a half to four years in prison. In the course of the investigation, a so-called prospect (candidate member) received a suspended sentence.
