Lochstein (on the crutch)

The perforated stone on the property on Krücke 60 N in the Sundern district of Bochum is a boundary stone from the time of coal mining.

It served as an above-ground survey point for an underground length field . The stone, carved from Ruhr sandstone , is about 50 centimeters high, 30 centimeters wide and 20 centimeters deep. It bears the inscription:

The perforated stone was added to the list of monuments of the city of Bochum on June 26, 1991 under the number A216.
