The Evangelical Reformed Logumer Vorwerker Church is located in the district of the same name in the East Frisian city of Emden and was built in 1884. It is already the second church in the village.

history

Logumer Vorwerk emerged when the previous settlement Logum was dammed in the 16th century after severe storm surges. A first church was built in 1594 with partial use of building materials from the abandoned Logum church in the village. However, this fell into disrepair over the centuries, so that it was decided in the 19th century to demolish it and then rebuild it. This was completed in 1884 in the neo-Romanesque style.

The pulpit and bell were taken over from the fallen church of Logum. The bell celebrated its 500th birthday in 1995. In 1993 the church was expanded to include an extension that is used for laying out. The pulpit was renovated in 1998.

The pastor's office is combined with the Wybelsum community to form a pastoral office.
