Loitering weapon
As Loitering Weapon ( dt .: herumbummelnde weapon ) or loitering munition be guided missiles called that start at first without specific goal and then circling extended period over the target area. Later a target is assigned by an operator on the ground via data link and attacked. Depending on the design, emerging targets can also be discovered, classified and fought by an autonomously initiated attack using their own sensors .
