Lok Sabha constituency of Hoskote

The Lok Sabha constituency of Hoskote was a constituency in the elections for Lok Sabha , the lower house of the Indian parliament , from 1967 to 1972 . It belonged to the state of Mysore and included an area around the city of Hoskote in what is now the district of Bengaluru Rural . Predecessor constituency in the 1962 Lok Sabha election was Chikballapur constituency . For the 1977 Lok Sabha election, the Hoskote constituency was dissolved and the Chikballapur constituency re-established.
