Lok Sabha constituency of Madras

The Lok Sabha constituency of Madras was a constituency in the 1951 elections for Lok Sabha , the lower house of the Indian parliament. He was in the then state of Madras and included the city of Madras (Chennai). For the 1957 Lok Sabha election, the constituency of Madras was divided into the two constituencies of Madras North and Madras South .
