The Lokinhamradalur is a now deserted valley in the West Fjords of Iceland . It had been settled since the conquest.

It is located on the north bank of Arnarfjörður, about across from Selárdalur . The mountains on both sides of the valley reach heights of 520 and 725 meters. In the valley there are only the two now abandoned farms Hrafnabjörg and Lokinhamrar, which can only be reached with off-road vehicles via the difficult slope, Salvogarvegur (622). A path is still marked on older maps. Through the valley over a 679 meter high pass one reached the neighboring Lambadalur and through Haukadalur the south bank of the Dýrafjörður with the nearest town Þingeyri .

The valley became famous through a 1999 documentary by Sigurður Grímsson and Angelika Andrees. The film shows the simple life of the last resident. He lived there without electric light and running water. In the summer, young people help him with agriculture. At the end of the film, Nonni (Sigurjón Jónasson) gives up his farm and moves to the next town Þingeyri. Sigurjón Jónasson died there on the morning of December 8, 2008 in hospital.
