Longqiuzhuang

The Longqiuzhuang site ( Chinese  龙 虬 庄 遗址 , Pinyin Lóngqiúzhuāng yízhǐ , English Longqiuzhuang Site ) is a Neolithic site in the eastern Jianghuai Plain in the east of Gaoyou Lake高邮 湖. It is located in the Gaoyou area in east China's Jiangsu Province . The finds from the site provided new insights into the history of rice cultivation in China. The site has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-38) since 2001 .
