The Longridge Head (English for Langgratkopf is) a headland at the Loubet coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located in the southwest of the Arrowsmith Peninsula and marks the northern limit of the entrance to Whistling Bay at the southern end of a 5 km long mountain ridge .
Participants in the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908-1910), led by polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot , sighted the headland as part of a mapping of this area in 1909. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in 1948 gave the headland its descriptive name.
