The Longuda is one of the languages ​​of Nigeria .

It belongs to the Niger-Congo language family and is classified in the Adamaua language group .

The exact number of speakers is around 32,000 and is decreasing as speakers increasingly adopt English, which was made the official language after the country became independent. In 1973, 50,000 people still spoke the Longuda.

Other variations of the name for the 'Longuda' are Languda, Longura, Nunguda, Nungura and Nunguraba .
