Lonkero

Lonkero is the vernacular for a long drink in Finnish . Lonkero is a mixture of gin and grapefruit lemonade . The alcohol content is between 4.7% and 7.5%. On the occasion of the Olympic Summer Games in Helsinki in 1952 and actually only intended for the time of the Games, the Hartwall company developed the drink under the name "Hartwall Original Gin Long Drink". In addition to the original mixture, a "Strong" and a "Light" version with increased alcohol or reduced sugar content are also available. There are also variants with cranberry and lemon flavors, as well as the cider- based, Lonkero-based mixed drink “Cool Grape”. In addition to Finland, Lonkero is officially marketed in Sweden , Estonia , Latvia , the Netherlands , Great Britain , Spain , Ghana , Israel , Thailand , Hong Kong , Japan and South Korea .
