Loogie.net is a work by the Swiss media artist Marc Lee , who founded it in 2002 as "the first interactive news television station ".

The software searches for texts, images and films from the Internet on a freely selectable topic and presents the material in the typical style of a news website ( Loogie.net NEWS ) or like a CNN news program on television ( Loogie.net TV ). Since there is no human intervention for order and evaluation, an artistic mixture of only apparently "tailor-made" information and caricature of the real-time news on television and the Internet is created.

In addition to the bilingual television program (German and English), Loogie.net is currently producing three websites in different languages. The technology is currently installed in the Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe .

Loogie.net received the HGKZ Diploma Year 2003 award . The jury praised the “intelligent and critical commentary on our media and information age” .
