The Lookout Islands ( English for views islands are) a group of three up to 45 m high islands and some cliffs before the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It belongs to the Rauer Islands .
In July 1983, the islands were the location for sea ice observations off the front of the Sørsdal Glacier in preparation for a traverse from the Rauer Islands to Davis Station . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the islands based on this event.
