Lore Deppe

Lore Deppe (born August 29, 1946 in Holzminden ) is a German politician without a party who was a member of the parliamentary group ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) in the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Deppe first attended elementary school and later switched to high school for girls . She graduated from high school in Holzminden and then began studying for elementary, secondary and secondary school teachers at the University of Hamburg . After completing her traineeship as a teacher, she started working as a teacher in Hamburg. Between 1980 and 1986 she worked as a teacher at the orientation school in Nienburg-Erichshagen.

She is a member of the Education and Science Union (GEW). Deppe is a feminist and was active in the autonomous women's movement. Deppe took part in setting up the Nienburg women's center, is a member of the associations "Women learn together" eV., Nienburg and "Social science research and practice for women" eV Cologne and also in the women's initiative October 6 in Bonn.

Between 1981 and 1986 she was councilwoman of the city of Nienburg for the voter initiative for democracy and environmental protection (WIDU). In the 11th electoral period she was elected as a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament between June 21, 1986 to June 20, 1990 via the state list of the party DIE GRÜNEN. She was elected as secretary of the Lower Saxony state parliament from July 9, 1986 to June 20, 1990. She was also deputy chairman of the parliamentary group DIE GRÜNEN from June 15, 1988 to July 5, 1989.
