Loren Hal Bouchard (born October 10, 1969 in New York ) is an American television producer, director , writer and actor .

Life

Loren Bouchard dropped out of high school without a degree and went on to work as a bartender. In 1993 his former elementary school teacher Tom Snyder, now a producer, hired him to make drawings for some animated short films. Bouchard developed and produced the television series Dr. Katz , which ran on Comedy Central from 1995 to 1999 . He has been the creator and producer of Bob's Burgers since 2011 . Bouchard lives in San Francisco with his wife, Holly Kretschmar. The couple has been married since September 3, 2006.
