Lorenzo Richelmy

Lorenzo Richelmy (born March 25, 1990 in La Spezia ) is an Italian film actor .

Life

Lorenzo Richelmy, the son of stage actors, moved with his parents to Rome when he was four years old in 1994 , where he has lived since then. In Lido di Ostia , a suburb of the Italian capital, he enjoyed his schooling. His first experience as an actor gained Richelmy 1998, at the age of eight, when he in the play "Il Gran Sasso strizza l'occhio al Frejus , directed by Italo Spinelli was on stage. Further engagements, including in the play Zio Mario under directed by Mario Prosperi , from 1999 to 2000, followed.

In 2008 he got his first film role, in the miniseries I liceali , in which he was seen in 18 episodes until 2009. In the television series Borgia , Richelmy played Sidonius Grimani in 2013 .

The television series Marco Polo helped him achieve his international breakthrough , in which Richelmy was seen from 2014 to 2016 in the role of the Venetian merchant's son Marco Polo .
