The Lorenzstraße located in the city center in the independent town Hof in Bavaria .

location

Lorenzstrasse is south of the old town. It is the connection between the Saale , the station district and the old town.

Attractions

The most important sights are the Marienkirche and the eponymous Lorenzkirche . The Marienkirche stands at the northern end at the transition to the old town. The Lorenzkirche was built on a hill in the south of the street. It is the oldest church in the city.

Like the old town, Lorenzstrasse is a central shopping street in Hof. There are several department stores in the street, such as Müller and Woolworth, as well as other shops such as Intersport .

Just like the old town, the upper part of Lorenzstrasse is a pedestrian zone, as this is where most of the shops are.
