Los Talas is a town in Uruguay .

geography

It is located in the Maldonado Department in Sector 8 , near the border with the neighboring Rocha department . Los Talas is located in the northeastern tip of the department west of the Arroyo del Alférez , which flows in a northerly direction , framed by its two left-hand tributaries, Arroyo Sarandí (north) and Arroyo de los Hernández (south).

Infrastructure

The Ruta 13 , which connects Los Talas with Aiguá , about 25 kilometers southwest, runs through the village .

Los Talas had 124 inhabitants at the 2011 census, 65 of them male and 59 female.
