Los Toros Band is a merengue group from the Dominican Republic . Their fame is almost exclusively limited to Latin America . Here, however, the band is mostly known for the two songs "El Nigrito del Batey" ( Spanish : The Negro Batey ), which among Dominicans as the unofficial national anthem of the Dominican Republic applies and "Leña" that at every home game of the baseball team of Santo Domingo , the Águilas (Span .: The Eagles ), is played.
