Los Umbrellos
Los Umbrellos was a Danish Latin pop group that existed from 1997 to 1999.
Career
The band was founded by the Danish music producer Kenneth Bager in Copenhagen . The front man was the rapper Al Agami , who comes from the African Lado enclave and fled to Denmark with his parents from the dictator Idi Amin . He was supported by the singers Mai Britt Vingsøe and Grith Höifeldt . The debut single No Tengo Dinero , which is based on the title Never on Sunday by the composer Manos Hadjidakis , was an international hit and at the same time the only chart single of the trio, only the only album of the group could be placed in Austria and Switzerland. Three other singles missed the charts.
