Lothar Becker (born September 5, 1959 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a German writer, musician and composer.

life and work

Becker studied social pedagogy and works in the socio-cultural field of open youth work. Since the early 1990s he has published poems and stories in anthologies and magazines, and has also composed musicals that have been published by various publishers ( Sikorski , Brotmann und Töchter, Cantus-Verlag ). Becker lives in Limbach-Oberfrohna.

Prizes and awards

• 2006: Finalist of the MDR literature competition
• 2007: 1st place in the national musical competition for Elecs' secret, announced by Sikorski and Lugert .
