Lothar Dirmhirn (born September 14, 1895 in Vienna ; † February 26, 1943 ibid.) Was a city inspector at the municipal waterworks in Vienna and a resistance fighter.

From 1938 to 1941 Dirmhirn was a functionary of the city management of the KPÖ Vienna and set up an operating cell at his workplace, the municipal waterworks, whose members made contributions to support the relatives of arrested communists. A communist leaflet and other material were found during a house search. Together with his wife Hermine Dirmhirn (born December 9, 1905), who was also a KP functionary, he was identified by the Gestapo in 1941 . Both were then sentenced to death by the People's Court for undermining military strength and preparing for high treason and executed on February 26, 1943 in the Vienna Regional Court.

His name can be found on one of the memorial plaques in the former execution room of the Vienna Regional Court.
