Lothar Kriszun

Lothar Kriszun (* 1952 in Gütersloh ) is a German manager.

Life

Professional background

From 1972 to 1975 he studied economics at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences with a focus on corporate management and accounting. From 1976 he worked as a cost engineer at Rowenta GmbH in Offenbach. In 1981 he moved to what was then CLAAS OHG, now Claas KGaA mbH, as head of cost accounting . From 1984 to 1986 he was assistant to the chairman of the management board and partner, then head of the business administration department (1986–1991), commercial director of the Westphalian works (1987–1991) and head of research and development (1991–1993). From 1994 he took over the management of CLAAS Fertigungstechnik GmbH in Beelen. From 1996 to 2002 he took on the role of spokesman for the management of CLAAS Selbstfahrende Erntemaschinen GmbH, Harsewinkel. From 2002 to June 2011 he was managing director of the sales and service departments of the CLAAS Group. In July 2011 he became a member of the management of CLAAS KGaA mbH and of the group management of the CLAAS Group and is responsible for the tractors business area. On October 1, 2014, Kriszun will succeed Theo Freye as spokesman for the CLAAS Group.

Volunteering

Lothar Kriszun has been a member and deputy chairman of the University Council of the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences since 2008 .
