Lotoha'apai United is a Tongan football club from Veitongo . The first team currently plays in the top division, the Tonga Major League .
history
The team is the island nation's record champions with twelve national championship titles.
In the 1999 season you could qualify for the first time for the decisive Oceania Club Championship Preliminary Round, but failed with three defeats. So far, the final of the Challenge Cup has only been reached once, but failed 4-1 at Marist FC in the 2010/2011 season. The club played in 2001 for the second time qualifying for the Oceania Club Championship, but retired after five defeats, in five games again. In 2006 the qualification for the Preliminary Round of the OFC Club Championship followed and only just failed second, three points behind the Nokia Eagles from Fiji . In the penultimate participation in the Preliminary Round so far, they failed due to the goal difference compared to the tied Tupapa Maraerenga from the Cook Islands . In the OCL Preliminary Round 2013 they failed again as the worst team after three defeats and thus missed the qualification for the OFC Champions League . In 2014 they were in the preliminary round for the third time in a row. After one win and two defeats, they were eliminated from the tournament as third in the group.

Stadion
Lotoha'apai United plays its home games at the 1,000-seat Loto-Tonga Soka Center , which is located on the grounds of Tonga College 'Atele in Toloa .
Women's soccer
With the Soccer Club Lotoha'apai (SC Lotoha'apai), the club also has a women's soccer team , which has played in the major league since it was founded in 2001. The team celebrated its first national championship in the 2002 season and made it to the cup final for the first time. In the decisive cup final game, however, the team failed to Nuku'alofa Eleven. Only one more championship title followed in the 2011 season.
