Margarete Balk
Margarete Balk (born February 4, 1896 in Gemünden am Main , † July 10, 1974 in Würzburg ) was a German teacher and politician ( CSU ). She was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 1958 to 1966 .
Margarete Balk completed her teacher training in Gemünden and Aschaffenburg in 1918 with the exam. From 1921 to 1940 she headed various children's homes and schools, including one on the Heuberg near Sigmaringen. From 1940 to 1945 she was a teacher at the agricultural vocational school in Karlstadt, and after the Second World War from 1945 to 1948 at the elementary school in Karlburg. She then switched to the Catholic Women's Association as a full-time employee. She was elected to the Bavarian State Parliament in 1958 and 1962.
