Lotte Tarp
Lotte Tarp (born February 14, 1945 in Aarhus , † October 24, 2002 in Copenhagen ; actually Ann-Charlotte Tarp ; originally Ann-Charlotte Rising ) was a Danish actress.
Career
Lotte Tarp was the daughter of a makeup artist and a German occupation soldier. Her stepfather was the composer Svend Erik Tarp . She made her acting debut at the age of 16. In 1964 she attended the drama school of the Copenhagen private theater ( Privatteater elevskole ) for six months and was then trained for a year by the actor and theater director Stig Lommer . In the summer of 1965, the photographer Werner Bokelberg brought her to a photo series with Salvador Dalí on his property in Port Lligat , whereupon Dalí adored her as his muse Ginesta Ophelia .
At the beginning of her career she played mostly easy, entertaining roles; she was seen in 1968 as the nude model Ulla in Die Olsenbande (the first film in the later 14-part series). From around 1970 she began to gain a foothold in the serious role profession - mainly through her collaboration with the writer and film director Henrik Stangerup , with whom she was married from 1967 to 1976. In 1972 she received a Bodil for best leading actress in Farlige kys .
In her later years, Lotte Tarp concentrated more on the writing of books, plays and screenplays, including the late 1980s the play Amagerv 4 . From 1990 to 1992 she trained as a screenwriter at the Danish Film School; her thesis was the script for the television film Længe leve friheden (1993). In 1997 she married the jazz musician Niels Jørgen Steen . In the same year she published her autobiography Det skulle nødig hedde sig . She died of cancer at the age of 57.
