Lou! is a Franco-Belgian comic by the illustrator Julien Neel .

The happy girl Lou lives in the big city with her single mother and the cat Desperado, who came to live. She experiences little adventures in everyday life. The neighbor boy seems to fall in love with her, the parents of Lou's friend Mina split up and Lou goes on vacation with her mother and the cat to go skiing with the grandparents of her neighbor Richard.

The gag comic first appeared in Tchô! Magazine, later in albums by Glénat . From 2004 to 2012 six albums have been released in France so far.

Awards

The first volume was nominated in 2005 for the Youth Comics Prize of the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême . In 2010 the fifth band won this prize at the Angoulême Festival.
