Louie Lawless

Louie Edward Lawless (born August 1942 in Penticton , British Columbia ) is a Canadian actor , film producer , film director and cameraman . He started out as a film producer under the pseudonym Leo Rivers in the 1970s .

Life

Lawless grew up on a farm in Bridesville, British Columbia with several siblings. After school he lived in Hollywood , where he attended various courses in film. From the 1970s he was part of a film production team. Under the pseudonym, he was involved in the films Black Angels ... the Self-Mangle , Dracula's lustful vampires and the documentary Manson . The latter was nominated in the Best Picture category at the 1973 Academy Awards. In 1977 he appeared for the first and last time as an actor in the film Planet of the Dinosaurs .

From 1985 to 1994 he taught acting and directing at the Victoria Motion Picture School. In 1994 he went back to Canada.
