Louis-Antonin Neurdein

Louis-Antonin Neurdein (* 1846 ; † 1914 ) was a French photographer .

Together with his older brother Etienne (December 3, 1832 - February 27, 1918) he opened a photo studio in Paris in 1863 under the company name “Neurdein Frères”. In 1875 a successful postcard publisher was founded. The photographs and postcards from the “Neurdein Frères” studio bear the “ND Phot” logo.

While Etienne ran the photo studio and specialized in portrait photography, Louis-Antonin made numerous trips and devoted himself to the photography of landscapes, buildings and monuments. His photos with motifs from France, Algeria, Belgium and Canada were offered for sale in various formats and designs.
