Louis Abraham Gruson

Louis Abraham Gruson (born December 19, 1793 in Neustadt near Magdeburg , † April 25, 1870 in Magdeburg ) was a German engineer.

Life

Gruson was born the son of the dyer and councilor Jacob Gruson. After attending the cadet school, he attended the artillery and genius school in Kassel .

He left the army as a Prussian engineer major. He was then from 1838 to 1840 chief engineer in the construction of the Magdeburg-Leipzig railway .

One of his sons was Hermann Gruson .
