Louis Amédée Mante (born May 4, 1826 in Paris ; † October 11, 1913 there ) was a French photographer and inventor. He developed his own process for photo prints, which he called "Mantochromes". Many of his prints are signed “AM Patent”. He worked with Edmond Goldschmidt in the later years .
