Louis Ansel

Louis Anschel (* 1964 ) is the pseudonym of the German author Oliver Hausch, who, according to the blurbs of some of his books, was born in Berlin in 1964 and lives in Pattaya .

Life

According to this information, Oliver Hausch first worked as a teacher before devoting himself to a career as an author and writing film reviews and screenplays. After stays abroad in North Africa and Latin America , he moved to Southeast Asia , where he fell in love with the “Land of Smiles” and has lived there for the most part ever since. According to the information, he also works as a translator (English-German) and writes short stories and novels. The focus is predominantly on relationships between European men and Thai women, with the actions predominantly taking place in the environment of the red light milieu. Louis Anschel became known above all through the TIP newspaper for Thailand , for whose print edition he has been writing the latest news for many years and whose edition he was also partly responsible for editing. However, his name has not appeared in the legal notice since 2011. In addition, Louis Anschel was jointly responsible for the eighth edition of the TIP guide Pattaya published by TIP boss Roy Dettmar in 2009 (all previous editions were edited by Dettmar himself, and Hans Michael Hensel was responsible for the ninth edition). He also made a name for himself with Germans living in Thailand between 2008 and 2011 as co-responsible "global moderator" of the TIP Forum.

His first crime novel Geldgier was published in 1999 by Schardt Verlag . The novel Joy's Secret followed a year later . Since 2007, the focus of his fiction work has concentrated on Thailand novels.
