The Louis Armstrong Park is a city park in the US city of New Orleans in the state of Louisiana . It was built in honor of New Orleans' best-known son, Louis Armstrong , and is located north of the French Quarter.

The park is only separated by Rampart Street, right on the edge of the French Quarter in the Treme district and covers an area of ​​approx. 130,000 m². The park is home to the New Orleans Municipal Auditorium, Mahalia Jackson Theater of the Performing Arts, Congo Square, and parts of the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park.

In 1970 and 1971 the park was the first venue for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
