Louis Döllstädt

Louis Georg Döllstädt (born April 16, 1843 in Weimar ; † October 1, 1912 ibid.) Was a German businessman and chairman of the municipal council.

Life

Döllstädt was a businessman and chairman of the municipal council. As a secret councilor of commerce, he was in charge of the affairs of his hometown Weimar for 36 years. In 1876 he was elected to the local council and in 1888 to the district administrator. From 1907 Döllstädt was Vice President and from 1909 President of the State Parliament.

His grave is located in the main cemetery in Weimar .

Services

Döllstädt earned merit in the construction of the water pipeline, the most important municipal task at the time.
