Louis wood turner
Louis Drechsler (* 1827 ; † June 25, 1860 in Edinburgh ) was a German cellist.
The son of the Dessau cellist Karl Drechsler studied cello with Auguste-Joseph Franchomme in 1845 and became a cellist in the Dessau court orchestra. He later worked in Edinburgh. He was the uncle of the cellist and conductor Carl Drechsler Hamilton and the violinist and conductor Bertha Drechsler Adamson .
