Louis Jemison
Louis Jemison (born May 19, 1952 ) is an international American grand master of martial arts , Hanshi and holder of the 8th Dan of Shorinji ryu ( Karate , Kobudo , Tai Chi Chuan ).
Since the age of 15 he learned from the style founder Richard Kim (* 1917; † 2001), Hanshi, 10th Dan. Jemison is President of the Kokusai Butokukai (International Martial Arts Federation) and the American Zen Bei Butoku Kai Association .

Jemison studied Oriental history and languages at the University of California at Berkeley .
