Rod Sanford

Rod Sanford (born October 12, 1946 in Ventura , California ) is an international American grandmaster of the martial arts , Hanshi and holder of the 9th Dan of Shorinji ryu ( Karate , Kobudo , Tai Chi Chuan ).
He learned under the style founder Richard Kim (* 1917; † 2001), Hanshi, 10th Dan, and is involved as technical director in the establishment of the Kokusai Butokukai (International Martial Arts Federation). Sanford is the technical director of Zen Bei Butoku Kai .
