Louis Marischal

Louis Marischal (born February 10, 1928 in Antwerp , † 1999 in Paris ) was a Belgian composer .

Life

Marischal completed his musical studies at the conservatories of Antwerp and Brussels. He completed his diploma with high honors. He has acted several times as a guest conductor with the orchestra of the BBC in London, the Orchester des Belgischen Rundfunks and the Orchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks .

In terms of composition, he is not oriented towards any of the known schools and fashionable currents. His work is varied and ranges from symphonic music to film music to chamber music.
